Our Mission:
Bringing SMILES to Children's Faces
while fostering and developing positive interactions and relationships between children and law enforcement.
Our programs are designed to build trust, provide opportunities to have personal interactions with law enforcement, build bridges, and promote community engagement — ultimately creating a safer society by reducing fear of law enforcement and increasing trust.
SONNY HORSES 4 KIDS partners with law enforcement, first responders, and community resource organizations to support children and families in need throughout Ventura County. We serve children with special needs, disabilities, at-risk youth, underserved communities, as well as women and children who have experienced trafficking or abuse. We believe that caring, smiles, and a lot of love go a long way.
SONNY HORSES 4 KIDS events are free! Every child receives a soft SONNY BOY plushie, a Junior Deputies Badge or Police Shield, and may enjoy face painting, great food, and more—theses are heartwarming moments to cherish!
SONNY HORSES FOR KIDS fosters positive relationships between law enforcement, children, and the community.
We use Sonny Boy, Sonny the Kid and other Ventura County mounted resources to connect with kids, easing tensions and showing that law enforcement is here for them anytime and for any reason. We are all local, our children go to the same schools, we live in the same neighborhoods, we shop at the same markets. We are the Community . Our events offer education and close interactions with friendly Sheriff's Deputies, Firefighters, Police officers, and their vehicles.
Introducing THE sonny horses 4 kids FEEDING KIDS PROGRAM
SONNY HORSES 4 KIDS began in 2022, and as we continue to grow, we are adding new programs that care for and support children and families in Ventura County. Our newest program SONNY HORSES 4 KIDS FEEDING KIDS will help provide food for children and families who may be struggling with food insecurity. With your support we can continue to make a difference, One family at a time.

Every handshake, rev of a motorcycle, and shared moment leaves a lasting impact. As kids meet these officers, each with different uniforms and different vehicles and a kind message, they realize we're all t working together to keep them safe. Every interaction builds trust respect, strengthening our community. Sonny Horses 4 Kids is key to this mission.
